An innovative and customer driven brand with a growing data team is seeking a talented Data Engineering Manager to oversee data engineering processes and drive insights within their geospatial and marketing data function.
The Data Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of data engineering specialists, whilst also building relationships with key stakeholders across different commercial areas of the business, taking a leading role on geospatial insights projects.
Whilst working at a senior level, the Data Engineering Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and optimising data workflows, managing the GIS tooling stack, and delivering valuable data driven insights and analytics to property, marketing, and product teams.
Data Engineering Manager - GIS - Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior, lead, or managerial data focused role
- Background in data engineering, database development, or data analytics
- Experience with GIS / Geospatial systems, such as Esri
- Hands-on technical skills in SQL and/or Python
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to analyse data and deliver valuable insights in commercial settings
- Any previous line management, leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
