An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join a cutting-edge, innovative, technology-focused organisation as they look to spin up a new team within their FinOps function.

The Senior Analytics Engineer will leverage their cloud data expertise to optimise costs and transform data - managing and reducing cloud spend, translating raw data into actionable insights, and building robust downstream data models.

Working along key stakeholders in finance and data analytics, the Senior Analytics Engineer will work to implement effective cost allocation strategies and provide clear financial visibility. They will also enhance data processes, ensuring efficient resource use and performance optimisation.

Senior Analytics Engineer - Key Requirements:

Significant previous experience in both Data Analytics and Engineering

Strong cloud data experience - either AWS or GCP
Hands-on technical skills in SQL, dbt, and Python

Ability to work closely with key stakeholders in finance / FinOps

Any previous experience in cost allocation, cloud spend, etc.

Any additional skills in Looker, Java, or Go would be beneficial but not essential
