Role: Programme Manager - MSP

Duration: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 exceptional pension package

Location: Remote with occasional UK travel

Fruition IT are working with a fantastic organisation in the public sector who are in a period of growth. They are looking to hire a Programme Manager with a broad background of working closely with MSPs and a good understanding of the Five Case model. This role will see you working on recovery planning to improve their services externally as well as improving internal credibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the current MSP landscape to understand what they have, and what value is being delivered.
• Utilise the Fiva Case Model - business case template within the public sector.
• Work with both internal and external senior stakeholders to ensure their interests are identified and addressed to influence and engage work to manage the programme effectively.
• Communicate regularly and engages in professional debate to resolve issues and differences between stakeholders and to challenge assumptions.
• Provide visible leadership and line management (which may include matrix management) for the Programme team and lead by example to evidence the organisational core values.
• Responsible for the overall integrity of the project plan, leads the project, and project team, through recognised project lifecycle phases
• Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team.
• Stay abreast of best practice and ensures continuous evaluation and improvement of their approach to programme and project management.

Required Skills/Experience

• Proven experience in a Programme Management role
• Experience working within the Public Sector
• Experience with the Five Case Model
• Working across business change / service improvement programmes at scale
• Technology led programmes of work with a focus on business change
• Programme & Project Management methodologies (Prince2, Agile etc)
